I would love to see you do a video of the street food there
Heading over next month! Pretty much listing down at this point every place your recommend in your videos! Thanks for the comprehensive guides!
I’m doing a solo trip to tokyo next week! This is a perfect item to go in my itinerary! I dont need JR ticket to get there, do I? Just regular IC or Subway card is good?
Go street food video! Go street food video!
Thank for the videos!
Definitely would love to see a video on Kamakura Street food! Hope you’re having a great weekend!
I’ll be there tomorrow where do I buy my scooter and how much are they? I also messaged you the other day but have had no reply? Can you please reply 😃
Loving the vids dude from Isle of Skye Scotland… Travelled round Japan in January and coming back this January love it
Thx for this video Paolo: great content and very helpful. Keep posting and safe travels
i have been subscribe your youtube and I found so many good content. so grateful😁 Im actually curious where're you from
What back pack is that?
And yes a street food vid!!
Thanks again paolo. Visiting late March next year and your day trips from Tokyo are great. If you have the chance to answer, can you get to the bamboo forest any other way. Is it walking distance. Thanks again
Yes to the street foooodddd!!!! 👍👍👍👍
What a video quality its awesome………..
I love seeing more unique local restaurants, even if communication may be a little more difficult haha. There are certain aspects of food and atmosphere that you can only really get by going out of your comfort zone and leaving the other tourists behind.
Definitely do a Video on Kamakura street food.
We just went to Kamakura 2-3 weeks ago! The bamboo forest was amazing!
The ticket to the bamboo forest with green tea cost 700yen now? It used to be around 400yen when I visit in 2016. Unless you're really into green tea and enjoy bitter taste, don't bother paying extra for it.
Nevertheless, Kamakura is my top tourist spot near Tokyo, besides Yokohama.
Off topic/Fun fact. If you've watched Oregairu anime, you'll probably realized some of the names here are familiar. The writer probably get most of the character names from Kanagawa Prefecture which actually surprised me when I visit Kamakura.
Is it better to travel to Kamakura by The Odakyu Endoshima-Kamakura Free Pass to Katase-Enoshima Station from Shinjuku Station? Or direct to Kamakura station by Shonan-Shinjuku line? We will be visiting Tokyo next month will be staying at Ikebukuro. Thank you.
Hey Paulo love your videos. As a suggestion now Toyosu is open maybe you can make a video of the new Toyosu, from walking from the station to the fish market to the veggie market and all Restuarant. I have been to Tsukiji but my feel for Toyosu is not their like Tsukiji and it,‘S history culture and old world charm. Maybe I am wrong and Toyosu will be just as amazing and vibrant, but right now it feels to clinical like a hosiptal😔
Thank you so much for sharing this video . I'm currently in Tokyo and I will visit this place tomorrow.
Yes,please do a Kamakura street food video.
Please do the street food on the next video. Thanks Paolo!
Love this video! Will definitely visit Komachi dori next time we go to Kamakura. We visited in May, rented bikes at that exact same place and our first stop was also Hokoku-ji! ^^
Thanks for the brief but educational trip to Kamakura! Last time we were in Japan was in 1978. Too old to travel long distance now.
Gran vídeo paolo, es como estar ahí de nuevo te envió un cordial saludo desde villahermosa, tabasco en mexico.
Hi Paolo, another great video! I’ve been looking for daytrips within Tokyo. Btw just curious.. is there a rental for the scooter? I think it would be nice to try that too
Yes please do video of street food. Thank you.
STREET FOOD!! YUMMY!!
Food tour of Kamakura! Yes! How about Enoshima as well?
I plan on being in Japan in March, next year. Definitely going to stop in Kamakura to experience temples and the bamboo garden, for sure. I would not mind any street food and local restaurants videos as they would add to anyone's knowledge of whats all to do in Kamakura. Thanks for the tour and Zoom has some nice looking scooters.
Street food video!!
Could have paid a visit to Enoshima, which is just nearby Kamakura, or maybe you wanna save it for another video? lol.
Btw, I'd like to see more of local food since it's less known to tourists. Thanks for the quality videos and keep up the good work.
Just been there last month, what a beautiful place. I do regret that we could not have the time to visit Enoshima though..
Please do a video just on street food! I would love to see your top 10-15 🙂
I want to know Kamakura just for Elfen Lied
Thanks for your informative and energetic videos which I love watching, Paolo! Japan is my fave country too. Thanks to you, I will be visiting Kamakura in Dec. mainly for the main drag, quaint shops, cafes and street food – not so much the shrines. For the bike rental, do they have child seats? We will have a 2 year old with me. And your audio quality is excellent for the outdoor shots – do you use a lapel mike or some other device?
Been gone for a little bit but back love the vids<3
Kamakura is def nice. I went there when it was drizzling and I didn’t get to explore much of the area too… def gonna get back there again
I ate so much gorgeous food in kamakura, definitely worth a street food video 🙂 also I like seeing the local places too!
Thank you for introducing Japan.Im japanese.i hope many people go to japan
Can you please be my tour guide this december lol coming all the way from Canada
Yes!! Please have a segment on places locals frequent so we can get the full immersive experience! Even if it is not tourist-friendly or have English menus, it is so awesome seeing local places get featured!
Kamakura is super beautiful! that Buddha statue is just stellar!Tokyo is seriously one of the best places in the world i enjoyed every second there! thanks for sharing this with us really enjoyed watching this. P.s. i have just been to japan, if ever you are interested in watching my videos 🙂
Very cool! I'm 100% all about local spots like that yakitori place, that's one of the best aspects of your videos.
Another great video, it made me want to go back to Japan again. Btw, does the Bike rental place rent out back and front child seat like the one at 8:43?
He's so smiling and sweet❤️ I subscribed 👍
YES!! I was hoping you'd stop by a Slam Dunk location!!
Thanks for the video. I watched several videos re. Kamakura already to get ready for our upcoming trip, but I appreciate the mentions of local places and other places that are not mentioned by everyone else. I also appreciate that your content is direct and cuts to the chase. Thanks!
More small Japanese towns like Hakone for example. All the touristy spots already covered by hundreds of other bloggers. So I think small/medium towns would be cool. Like Nikko, Kamakura (that you did now), Hakone etc. Attractions, Food, Temples….
When I was walking around the Kamakura market streets, I started getting light-headed in very specific spots…I thought I might be catching a flu, but then my girlfriend told me it's known as a highly spiritual area. That Kamakura place gives off really strong electromagnetic forces. If you've ever been to Sedona AZ and truly felt that strong electromagnetic energy there, you will feel the strong energy spikes in very specific, small spots near and next to where the temples are built. There's a reason why they built these temples in certain, seemingly, random spots – high, electromagnetic energy. Asakusa temple is another place that gave off a ridiculous amount of electromagnetic energy, but I found it to be unpleasant energy. I told my girlfriend that energy and ringing sound I heard there would drive me crazy if I lived there. She then told me that the people in Asakusa are known in Tokyo for doing crazy things sometimes…I can understand why some go crazy there…the energy there was so annoying to me.Go check out all the popular temples in Tokyo and Japan. Most are built on ground with odd energies. I personally think that possibly fault lines and certain types of rocks make these areas feel weird to me. Go see if these temple areas have an affect on you.
Do the bike rental shops offer training wheels Paolo?(asking for a friend)
Thank you for featuring Kamakura. We're visiting Tokyo in April and this looks like a great day trip. Looking forward to the Kamakura Matsuri.
There’s a store that sells delicious buttery cookies in the shape of a bird. You can buy them by the box. Kamakura is known for them. Try them next time.
Love your informative videos on Japan! I'm going to Kamakura soon so this was a great guide 🙂 Also curious about your audio gear. Do you use the Rode Mic more or the Sennheiser Wireless Mic?
Cool video! My bf and I were deciding where to go for a day trip not too far from Tokyo because we had time to kill but we didn't wanna do hakone or Yokohama, I think now we will choose Kamakura, I didn't know there were these many things. In your opinion, do you need to be fit to cycle around?
Hi Paolo! Really love your channel. You are hands down one of my favourite YouTubers in Japan. Would really appreciate it if you could check out my first attempt at a video, where I also visited Kamakura: https://youtu.be/290m0n_1IIc
If I rent a bike to go around, where can I leave the bike when I go to temple or restaurants? Does the bike have lock?
もろみ ＋ 生キュウリ ってのも あるよ モロキュウ 居酒屋メニュー
if you wanna unwind, shonan is the place.
Great guide. I really look forward to the street food tour, it would be awesome.
Grat video. Thanks! What is the name of the first restaurant where you had such wonderful seafood tempura? Thanks! We'd love to go there next month!
I am a Japanese. Your video is very helpful as I am not familier with Kamakura. Thank you.
Matcha location at (2:04) I finally found it after an hour or so of searching google maps. Store Name: SAWAWA 抹茶Address: 8HC2+2H Kamakura, Kanagawa, Japan
I really like how you show the place you go to through a map, very informative and gives me a perspective/idea how close/far are the places you mention in a certain area..
Very nice videos! I liked this one because you showed vegan meal in the bar (miso cucamber). It is very nice to see vegan opsions to order in a regular bar.
Im all for the Japanese experience i want no English on my menu is all about adventure 😄
nice video , i found it is kinda like foodranger style.
Very nice, thank you! Only, how about Engaku-ji with the shrine of the founder of Shotokan karate Gishin Funakoshi?
i would love to live in Kamakura
Hey Paolo. Already planned my Japan visit this July but now having problems walking. My knee hurts when I walk. I came back to this video again bcos you travelled on the scooter. This scooter could be my savior to move around better in Japan. Are there any in Tokyo or Osaka where we can rent one? And how scooter-friendly is Japan especially at Disney & USJ?
I'm happy he gets sponsors 😊
Mentioned Slam Dunk. Like.
Thanks for adding the detail in your description. I remembered watching your video and I was in kamakura having breakfast and was able to put together an itinerary really quickly over breakfast without having to rewatch
Hi Kamakura 👍👍🎉🎉😁😁✌️️✌️️😍😍
I dig all your videos Paolo! More local stuff! Love to see Japan the way the locals do!
🙅♂️battery bicycle ❌
I absolutely love kamicura! The big Buddha and the beach! Such a stunning peaceful town
I am living in Zushi city.Next time please introduce Zushi
Paolo, after watching tons of your videos, I wonder: how can you eat so much and still be thin?
Riding ZOOM on the road is illegal in Japan.
No matter my mood, your videos always lift me up! Thanks for always having some fun content 🙏
the only thing I learned from this vid is never to buy anything remotely connected to the zoom scooter. Thank you Pablo.
0:21 snap VAMOS BOQUITA PAPAAAAAAA
Watch out for kamakura San aka shin 4th form
Rented an electric bike from Bike Rental for an hour to Hokokuji (15 min ride from Kamakura town). Got carried away with photo though the bamboo shrub isn't really large…returned the bike 5min late but the boss was OK. No extra charge…phewThanks Paolo for the recommend.
You're knowledgeable but your voice is kinda annoying 😔
Enjoyed your video, and you've definitely shown different places from other videos I've seen, on Kamakura. I personally prefer the traditional Japan, with its historic towns, houses, and shops, rather than the modern boutiques and stores. Arigatou gozaimasu 😀
Who wants to see you eating
Hey Paolo, thanks for your videos. Yours and a few others have made my current trip easier. I am thoroughly enjoying my trip…so much so, that I’m considering relocating. Lol but for real.
